A poem about one of Velice's dishes, titled:
"Creamy Lemon Squares"
An ancient light reaches my mouth As I hold you, oh, Creamy Lemon Square Wine and bread pass away A sour shot in the dark Of these flying days Oh, they taste so good! Creamy Lemon Squares!

(( Not exactly a WoW Poem. This dates back to my collection published at Unlikely Stories in 2000. Seems somewhat Xelas-appropriate though. ))
Executioner
Did you see it, this moment? A droplet of time, brighter than blood: It hung in midair, like a glass, Knocked over by a careless hand-- Fooling the viewer into thinking There is a way to save it, Stop its fall, keep it whole.
But one can only cry out in dismay As it shatters, grenade-like and indiscreet, Shredding the fabric of reality around it, The contents of which is lost, splashed Like wine Or blood.
Did you miss it, then? The sudden exhalation And look of surprise on a dead man's face That says he had expected Just one more breath.

Fagerboozle made himself semi-famous with some poetic contributions back in the earlier days of the server. Uh... assuming you consider limericks to be "poetry":
Oh the Blood elves here are zealous Despite being nancy-boy fellas Their pants are too tight When they're looking to fight And everyone sees why they're jealous -----------
i think that when a Blood Elf dies he should explode like a meat pinata -- just a grisly reminder of why vanity doesn't really die young or leave a pretty corpse.
no, it's just tufts of blonde hair and plastic parts and the occasional green wobbly bits strewn about like confetti in a mad house.
