It was a cold morning... Turudes had just woken up. Turudes' father, Sederan, called him outside. Sederan said, "Turudes, this morning, Arthas returned to Lordaeron. I will be going to the city to meet with the Senate." Turudes replied, "Yes, father." Sederan told Turudes, "Stay home with your mother and Melganie." Turudes answered, "Yes, father." As soon as Sederas left, Turudes called Melganie outside. Melganie inquired, "Its seven in the morning... what do you want?" Turudes Answered, "Time to do the chores, Mel." Melganie replied, "...Cant they wait?" Turudes answered with a grin, "Nope." Melganie and Turudes went to the barn and fed the Horses. Turudes groomed his horse, Shruikan. Melganie asked, "Why do you get a horse and not me?" Turudes replied, "Because I do my chores without being asked five times." Melganie said, "Fair enough..." After the Barn was finished, Turudes left for the house, they needed to sweep the floor, and dust the furniture. Soon, Carisaa Arestin, Turudes' mother, would wake up. Carisaa liked for all the chores to be finished before they she woke up. Turudes continued his chores with Mel.
Turudes turned, he saw a messenger on horseback. He thought, "Father must be staying in the city overnight again..." The messenger was tired, he panted as he spoke. The messenger said, "Lordaeron is under siege by undead, your father may be dead..." Turudes shuddered, "What!? Arthas has returned, he defeated the undead!" The messenger replied grimly, "Arthas lead the attack." Turudes ran inside, and beckoned the messenger in, too. Turudes yelled up to his mother, "Mother! Come down here now, this is terrible news." Carisaa ran down the stairs, "Whats wrong, son?" Turudes said, "Father is dead, Arthas lead an attack on Lordaeron, and his army was undead." The Messenger cut into the conversation, "A caravan is waiting in the town center, I suggest you pack up and hurry!" Turudes, Melganie, and Carisaa hurried to pack up clothes and supplies. Turudes packed Shruikan with food and whatever else he could hook and tie on. Turudes mounted Shruikan and his mother and Melganie mounted Saresh, their other horse. They rode into the village center. There, a large convoy was awaiting them. It seemed as though an entire division of Lordaeronian soldiers was there. Carisaa went to check in with the leader of the Convoy. Turudes waited on Shruikan near the center of the Convoy. A guard asked him if he could handle a weapon, Turudes answered yes. The guard went away for several minutes, and then came back with a sword and a leather cuirass. Turudes asked, "What's this for?" The guard answered, "If you need it, use it." Turudes examined the sword, it was well balanced, and made of good steel. The Cuirass was rather low quality for someone like him, but he made use of it all the same. Soon the convoy left the village, and they were making good time. They were already almost out of Tirisfal Glades when suddenly, dozens of undead poured out of the forests. There was a hard fought battle, ghouls and guards fell alike in the forest. Turudes must have taken down atleast six. Alas, the guards were only human, there were limits to what they could take. They fell, one by one, and for every guard that fell, the undead grew stronger... Carisaa and Melganie were sorrounded, Turudes looked to them, and urged Shruikan into a gallop, it seemedm as if he were going to charge the lines of the undead. Then, ghouls jumped onto Carisaa and Melganie, he knew they were dead. Turudes fought back tears as he turned Shruikan and galloped away from the burning convoy. Turudes rode south, and lived off of a three day ration. Turudes rode through villages completely empty. He saw the signs of conflict, and each village he passed only made him urge Shruikan to move faster. Eventually, Turudes reached Redridge. Where a man named Raz met him. Raz adopted Turudes as his own son. Turudes lived many years with Raz and was trained in the ways of a rogue. When Defias bandits attacked their home, Turudes killed ten. Raz, in his old age, was overwhelmed, and killed. The Bandits, angry about him killing their friends, brought him back to Moonbrooke and tortured him for three days. Turudes was eventually rescued by a group of adventurers, and went to roam the streets of Stormwind. He took up jobs as a mercenary, and an assassin. Eventually, he was caught and thrown in the stockade. He served his time there, and when he got out, decided he'd do something with his life...
