An anomaly in and of herself, Moyira Tiamorsa is many things. To her parents resideing in Darnassus, she is a caring daughter who frequently found herself helping out her family business. As she grew older, her chores changed from sweeping where the Tiamorsa's would set up shop to learning the craft, or rather, being coerced to. Sure, the night elf can thread a needle, but it was not exciting enough. Roaming about the capital city, she made frequent trips to Dolanaar observing and frequently talking with the passing priestess or guard group. While traveling to Shadowglen, she observed a group of hunters going through drills with their bows and soon became to study and look into all aspects of archery. Returning to Darnassus to speak with her elders, she had to see if she could get some means of support from them in order to pursue this new 'hobby' she discovered.
After many ongoing arguments, she was able to strike a deal. Work as a supply runner, carrying her family's craftwork to Ashenvale vendors and she could make enough money to apply for a Hunter License. Late nights were had, studying various techniques and of course, scrapping enough copper to purchase a bow and a few poorly crafted arrows she would regularly retrieve. With her dream fulfilled, what would she do with this new knowledge? Pursue a journey in upholding the law? Become a vigilante to protect her race from any wrong doing? For a short time after, she was a deliverywoman by day and a would-be marksman by night.
The fact of the matter is, asking Moyira if she would consider herself a 'huntress', she would decline outright. What caught her attention to a life of the bow and arrow was that of curiosity. "I like seeing how things react with other things. I'm more of a shooting enthusiast," is her normal reply. Her capricious nature eventually lead her to a fellow Night Elf by the name of Dazy, who introduced her to Kaleigh Shadowrunner and the Sisters of the Crusade. Having no real knowledge of the guild's background, despite being explained by Kaleigh herself and hearsay from the townsmen of Azeroth, she concentrated her efforts on leaving Darnassus to explore what the world had to offer. Her parents currently believe she is acting as a liason for Tiamorsa Tailoring.
Eventually, her exploits made her cross paths with her two sabers. A smaller, black striped nightsaber and a larger black-spotted wintersaber she uses a method of transportation. Again, having no formal training in the hunter's ways, she has only ever tamed and interacted with these two animals. When asked if she ever tried taming another pet, she replies that she doesn't know "how to establish effective communication."
She can be frequently seen frequently hanging around the both of them, conversing with them on a regular basis. Shortly after finding her larger wintersaber, Moyira has taken up engineering without any previous knowledge outside of rote education. She believes that it is not herself, but her two cats who have the knowledge of how to build the various contraptions she has her finger in. Taking the advice of her 'trusted scientific companions', she attempts to figure out how things work, coming to her two 'kitties' as intellectual equals. This has resulted in various mishaps with her exploits, including attempting to make explosive arrows that have put holes in roofs (and destroy hoof cleaners) or create a herd of free-roaming mechanical sheep. Watching her with her cats, one has to wonder: is this a elf that can rival a gnome's genius? A true communicator of nature? Or if she simply has one too many bolts loose.
